February 13-17
*Library* Normally our book exchange is Wednesday.  This week and next week it will be on Monday.

*Harper Mountain* I am very please with last weeks first lesson.  Students are very excited about this opportunity.  Thank you so much parents for your support!  This Wednesday is our second lesson.

*Thursday is Young People's Concert*

*Gymnastics* Permission forms will go home Monday February 13th.  They are due back next Tuesday, February 21st.  We are scheduled to go with our kindergarten buddies on March 1, 15.  The cost is $ 13.00.

SCIENCE
This is week 2 of preparation for Science Fair.  Students are expected to bring to school the materials they need for the experiment.  It is expected that students will have a photo record of the experiment.  I realize that some families may not be comfortable sending a camera to school.  I do have a camera as a back up. 

SOCIAL STUDIES
Last week we completed some very cool Valentine's projects.  We will participate in the Heritage Stamp contest this week.

MATH
Students should be practicing their times tables every day for at least ten minutes.  Home support is critical in memorizing these facts.  There are many ways to make it fun!  Please help your child practice every day.
