February 20-23

*Tuesday, February 21st* Gymnastics payment due.  If you require more time please let me know in your child's Agenda.

*Wednesday, February 22nd*  Harper Mountain.  This is our last day for skiing/snowboarding.  I want to thank parents very much for supporting this life long sport.  Even if your child does not pick it up again until later in life, they will have this important foundation.

*Friday February 24th*  This is a professional development day, therefore the school is closed.

*Science Fair*  There are still a few groups that need to do their experiments.  Therefore I am extending week 2.  Here is a reminder of the schedule outline.
Week 1- choose a question
Week 2- gather the materials, do the experiment, record results, observations
Week 3- write up all of the components
Week 4- using a display board, put the project together

MATH
On Tuesday we will have our final test for Number Sense.  It has been a very long unit.  The test will be on rounding to the tens, hundreds, and thousands, as well as counting coins.  Many of our practice sheets have gone home.  To prepare students can do a quick review of the sheets.
